We only have a few demands when it comes to our small toilet. One would be a toilet for small spaces. Second, the functionality and comfort for the user and lastly, the cost of the product.
We need to consider cost since it is a space saving compact toilet that does not need to be really luxurious. You only hope that it fits well and functions well.
For our top 1 product, we highly recommend the HOROW HWMT-8733 Small One-piece Toilet. It is one of the very practical and economical low profile toilets. Aside from its water efficiency, this is one of those small toilets that is really suitable for powder rooms and extra washrooms that do not have a lot of room. All in all, it is affordable, quiet, and easy to clean.

Another intergalactic space saving toilet that is not so famous all over the planet is the GALBA Small One-Piece Toilet. Like our top choice, this ceramic compact toilet is not too affluent when it comes to price and the features are not overrated.
It feels like a normal fully sized toilet, but in actuality, it’s a great toilet for small spaces. It's a one-piece type of small toilets, which makes it very easy to clean, especially on the exterior surface.
Flushing power is very adequate and it's very water efficient too as it has the dual flush mechanism - 0.8 GPF light flush and 1.6 GPF heavy flush. It will make sure your number twos are gone for good.
It comes with a soft-close toilet seat which gives it a very nice touch. Don't worry, it's unbelievably comfortable. Installation is fairly easy, so once it's in, it's solid. Installation is just like any other low profile toilets and conceals all the screws nicely. However, if you want to take the easy way out, just get a plumber to do it all for you.

I love TOTO. The four letters are synonymous to "quality." With 27.5 x 14.2 x 31.2 inches as its dimensions, TOTO Aquia performs outstandingly in terms of space saving.
This toilet for small spaces is equipped with a unique weapon: the dual flush. This feature gives you two options of flush: 0.9 GPF light flush or 1.6 GPF heavy flush. You will be amazed by how much water is saved simply by adding this feature to your low profile toilets.
The only downside to this space saving small toilet is that it is pricey and you need a new hero to save your budget. Despite that, if you can afford the elegance and sturdiness of this compact toilet, you are investing in a pretty good asset.

American Standard is as famous as TOTO and it takes our number 5 spot because of its affordability and quality. It is a High Efficiency Toilet (HET) and it is considered to be eco-friendly with up to 1.28 GPF or less.
This small toilet is originally meant for children and small people so the downside to it is its seat height. Adults may not feel comfortable using these low profile toilets and the bowl is too tiny for large people.

Presenting the Saniflo 023 Sanicompact!
We've talked about this in our best overall toilets guide, but it's maybe the greatest toilet for small spaces out there. Not only is it petite, it can also fit into any narrow space. Look how petite it is: 18.2 x 14.5 x 15.8 inches with the water tank built inside.
What’s unique about this design is that this compact toilet is electrical - meaning the flushing mechanism is all electrical. It can be placed anywhere from 9’ - 20’ away from the main waste drain pipe. It uses a macerating system that chops all the waste into a slurry, that is then pumped through a 1” pipe to the waste drain. Also, the flush is triggered by a button, so you can choose either 1 gallon or 1.28 gallons per flush.

Our last galactic space saver is another TOTO pride. This is a two-piece elongated toilet for small spaces coming from its popular line of DRAKE toilets. It comes with an elongated bowl and a universal rim height.
This thing is ADA compliant so it is safe for disabled people. It might be a common style for a compact toilet but it is a smaller version of the usual DRAKE model so it is something to look out for and perhaps consider. The price is also reasonable so it is worth buying these kinds of small toilets from TOTO.

Difference Between Standard Toilet and Small Toilet
The difference between standard toilet and small toilet is definitely the dimensions or size. The small toilet is a space saving compact toilet preferably used for tiny rooms or spaces. It is also functional for short people or small children.
The space saving toilet normally comes with the same features as a standard toilet so it is not really a huge disadvantage compared to standard toilets. The small toilet however is most suitable for areas where it is greatly needed.
Where Are Small Toilets Mostly Used In?
The space saving toilets are usually found in tiny houses, rv’s, motorhomes, marine boats, preschools and other places where space area is downsized or just simply not enough to accomodate large fixtures or stuff.
Small toilets are great in redefining the look of a small space and surely will give more comfort to the user. The space saving small toilets are even great for big spaces. It can be used anywhere to begin with.
What To Look For In A Small Toilet?
1. Size / Dimensions
A typical toilet dimensions are around 27' 1/2” D x 18' 3/4” W x 26” H. Needless to say, a toilet for small spaces should be smaller than these dimensions, but here comes the tricky question. How small should small toilets be and do they compromise functionality with size?
So far, the smallest toilet I’ve found is 14 x 24.5 x 27 inch and the functionality is still there. So, finding an ADA standard compact toilet isn't an impossible thing.
2. Round or Elongated Toilet
The round toilet is only a few inches shorter than the elongated toilet. The shape does not actually command the size or dimensions. It is simply about more length for the elongated toilet compared to the round one.
Either way, there are elongated toilets that are also space saving like the round ones. Although a lot of people prefer the elongated toilet because it covers a bigger area and water surface. The elongated toilet is also more comfortable as a seat for large buttocks.
Round ones though tends to be more space saving because of the shape. Go for the shape that really fits your wash area and not just because you like the look of it.
3. Round or Elongated Toilet
Just like a normal toilet, a small toilet has the power to flush down an elephant.
Nowadays, the American Federation requires toilets to use less than 1.6 gallons per flush to achieve eco-friendliness and water saving performance. Under these circumstances, the small toilets we're looking for must be equal or less than this GPF value while still maintaining adequate performance.
4. Rough-In
The standard toilet has a rough-in length of 12 inches. This is why the low profile toilets we are looking for must have this rough-in length at maximum. But don't worry, all the toilet for small spaces meet this measurement.
5. One-piece or Two-Piece
Yes, this can make a big difference in terms of size. Generally speaking, one-piece toilets are smaller than two-piece toilets, because they come as one unit. Unlike two-piece toilets that comes with the water tank and bowl separately and needs to be manually attached.
And The Winner Is...
Being a Star Lord isn’t a very promising job. At one point you could live in a house without a bathroom, so a small bathroom is better than nothing.
You can always brighten up your small bathroom and a space saving compact toilet is one of the main features to liven up the place. So after searching every different kind of small toilets in the galaxy, you will finally discover one that is truly amazing.
