In my opinion, Durastyle toilets represent the Duravit style the most. With the unusually flat design and vertical outlet, Durastyle is definitely the most classic one out of all the other toilets. Finally, let me show you some important yet boring details. It probably only interests people like me or your plumber.
Like most of the modern design, Durastyle toilets use a dual-flush system, using only 1.6 and 0.8 gallons per flush. While saving water through tuning down the amount of water is a great thing, I found that this model doesn’t flush as well as you would like to.
To be more precise, it needs more than one flush to get the job done. Oh, by the way, buying Durastyle doesn’t include the seat.

2. Duravit 2225090092 Wall-Mounted Starck 3
“Duravit has revolutionized the sanitary world. Starck 3 brings design to a segment where it was once an untouched concept with a vast array of products that meet all needs and tastes.” Well, it seems that Duravit has really high hopes for this model, but the question is, can they handle these anticipations?
The short answer, yes. The longer answer, yes, but barely.
Why? The greatest thing about Duravits' toilets is its look, and of course, this model can absolutely satisfy your aesthetic needs, designed by Philippe Starck, a famous French furniture designer. I need to point out that Philippe did a really good job of reducing the weight.
Usually, normal toilets weigh around 90 pounds; however, Starck 3 weighs only around 30 pounds. Also, the flushing system is dual-flush, using 0.8 and 1.6 gallons respectively per flush, which saves a lot of water.
And...here comes the downside. Like many other toilets sold by Duravit, Starck 3 wall mounted toilet doesn’t come with a seat, which cost almost a hundred dollars, and if you want to add a widget, then oh boy, you have to put more cash on the table.

3. Duravit 113010001 D-Code
So the point of D-code series is to make affordable yet elegant sanitary ware for everyday usage, from washbasin to, yes, toilets. Thus the price is pretty affordable ranging around $200, which is cheaper than most of the toilets. No, this is not an upscale model, but it is fine for residential use.
Another thing worth pointing out is that D-code toilets using ADA standard, which means it allows maximum self-sufficient use. Additionally, it equipped with a left or right-hand flush lever.
D-code one-piece doesn’t come with the dual-flush system, but the flushing usage does hit the criteria of WaterSense, 1.28 gallon per flush. As for the flushing power, so far I haven’t had (or heard of) a single complaint of this sanitary ware.
Thus I’m going to assume it is alright as a low flow model. Also, Duravit gives a 5-year warranty on this. But, well, yeah, it doesn't come with a seat...

I think the answer to this question will mostly depend on what is your ideal bathroom. If you are the type of people who love aesthetic things, then Duravit is the choice for you.
The Good
Design - the majority of the Duravit models have an angular look and a usually flat seat, which can save up a lot of space and make it harmonically blend in with your bathroom's surroundings. I’ve heard a lot of people saying how they love the Duravit’s simple yet elegant design and would love to replace their water closet just for that very reason. Price - Not the cheapest nor the most expensive model out there, but because of that, you are guaranteed to get the same value of what you pay. Flushing power - Duravits' water closets use a cool type of flushing technique called “Rimless flushing.” Due to the square bowl shape, they came up with a compelling flushing system where water comes up vertically then horizontally and finally the whole bowl. This ensures that even when using the least amount of water (0.8 gallons per flush), the bowl can still perform a strong flush. Plus it can also reduce flushing time efficiently.

The Bad
Well, I just have heard too many things about it, so I kind of have to warn you guys.
Quality - In my experience dealing with Duravit toilets, due to their concealed design of the trapway, it gets twisted by too much of flush sometimes. But, those instances are rare, and I believe Duravit has improved it throughout the years.
Spare Parts - Yes, you may be surprised, but it is always better to have spares than nothing. Because of the unique design of Duravit toilets, when your toilet suddenly breaks, the pieces you need may not be selling on the shelf at Home Depot.
No Toilet Seat - As far as I can tell, most Duravit toilets don’t come with a seat or bidet. You have to buy it as a separate unit. What’s even worse, their seats cost three-figure dollar range; however, Duravit is slowly understanding that it may not be a good strategy to sell toilet seats at such a high price. So with newer models coming up, they are reducing their prices.
The Final Verdict
Me including, I believe most plumbers have a love/hate relationship with Duravit.
On one hand, we know clients love the modern look of the toilets. However, the heavyweight (almost 200 pounds) can cause us tons of trouble when carrying it up and down the stairs. Uninstalling the product from unhappy clients is also a pain due to their inner trap-way design.
On the other hand, I believe the design of Duravit models can win over a lot of people’s heart. A lot of my clients are in fact in love with their Duravit water closets. They keep telling me how good they look as if they married to the toilet. So, as long as you pick the right Duravit model that has good flushing power, you are good for at least 5 years without major plumbing issue.
