Best Compact Toilet For Small Bathrooms – 2017 review
Saving space - just like captain Kirk, but only better.
Luckily, we're not going to be travelling through space and fighting green skin aliens.
No, I’m here to talk to you about these awesome small toilets that will make your bathroom spacious.
Most toilets are ADA regulated toilets, and are generally elongated bowl shape which makes everything a whole lot bigger.
So, let’s go for a ride to find the best small toilet for your bathroom. There will be some bumps along the way, but don’t worry, I’ll hold your hand.
What To Look For In A Small Toilet
Hitchhiking through galaxy may be a great pain in the ass, but hey, no one tells you to do that.
When picking a small toilet, there few factors to consider:
A typical toilet’s dimensions are around 27' 1/2” D x 18' 3/4” W x 26” H.
Needless to say, a "small" toilet should be smaller than these number, but here comes the tricky question. How small should a small toilet be and do they compromise functionality with size?
So far, the smallest toilet I’ve found is 14 x 24.5 x 27 inch and functionality is still there.
2. Gallon per flush
Just like a normal toilet, a small toilet has the power to flush down a horse.
Nowadays, American federation requires toilets to use less than 1.6 gallons per flush to achieve maximum flushing power. Under these circumstances, the small toilets we're looking for must be equal or less than this while still maintaining adequate performance.
3. Rough in
The standard toilet has a rough in length of 12 inches. This is why the toilets we look for must have this rough in length, but don't worry, all our toilets meet this.
4. One-piece or two-piece?
Yes, this can make a big difference in terms of size. Generally speaking, one piece toilets are smaller than two piece toilets. because they come in one big unit, unlike two-piece toilets that comes with the water tank and bowl attached separately.

We've talked about this in our best overall toilets guide, but it's definitely one of the greatest space saving toilets out there.
Look how petite it is: 18.2 x 14.5 x 15.8 inches with the water tank built inside it. The unique design makes this toilet electrical, meaning the flushing mechanism is all electrical.
It can be placed anywhere from 9’ - 20’ away from the main waste drain pipe. It uses a macerating system that chops all the waste into a slurry that is then pumped through a 1” pipe to the waste drain.
Also, the flush is triggered by a button so you can choose either 1 gallon or 1.28 gallons per flush.

And The Best Compact Toilet Is...
Being a star lord isn’t a very promising job. I’ve lived in various houses in my years, especially in my youth. At one point I didn’t even have a bathroom! So, a small bathroom is better than nothing.
BUT, you can always brighten up your small bathroom and a compact toilet is one of the main features to liven up the place. So after searching everywhere in the galaxy, I've found it...
Flushing power is very adequate and it's very water efficient too as it has dual flush mechanism - 0.8 GPF light flush and 1.6 GPF heavy flush. It will make sure your number twos are gone for good.
It comes with a soft-close toilet seat which makes it a very nice touch. Don't worry, it's freaking comfortable. Installation of it is fairly easy, so once it's in, it's solid.
Installation is just like any other toilet and conceals all the screws nicely. However, if you want to take the easy way out, just get a plumber to do it all for you.
